UCanSkate is a mexican women-led organization, using skateboarding as a tool for empowering minorities and vulnerable groups, they create activities and provide access to projects that open up opportunities within skateboarding. Their mission is to inspire more women and youth to join the skateboarding community and reclaim public spaces, which in many areas of Mexico are dominated by men. By doing so, they strive to challenge the deeply rooted gender disparities in the country, particularly within Indigenous communities. Their focus is on advancing gender equity, fostering the inclusion of displaced Indigenous communities, promoting racial justice, and nurturing youth development.
