With Bait al-Shams, just.childhood is offering the children a safe space for learning and simply being a child on a continuous, reliable basis and prepare them for school. They are working with an alternative, reformatory educational approach based on internationally developed Child Protection regulations.
Since the beginning, Just.Childhood has been working with the communities living in the Palestinian refugee camps in Beirut. The children and youth are often excluded from sports and any recreational activities and have hardly access to places to move in general. This is true especially girls and children with disabilities.
