Operated by Goodpush, the ROLL Models programme is designed to support and create visibility for diverse women leaders within skateboarding and to fund the projects they’ve designed — so that the next generation of girls and gender-diverse youth can build confidence, community, and life skills on and off their skateboards. Through a partnership with Women Win, Goodpush offer ROLL Models grantees a seed-grant of up to €3000 to fund their project idea, a place at the annual Leadership Camp in Berlin, and support and guidance from Skateistan and Women Win. One of our 2023 grantees was Hera Skate.
Hera Skate is a non-profit organisation empowering girls, women, non-binary, trans and queer people through skateboarding and creative arts in Berlin. We aim to create safe, inclusive and accessible spaces of social interaction, collaboration, diversity and inspiration for FLINTA*s within the skate community.
