Bangladesh Street Kids Aid

BSKA provides a wide-range of opportunities and services to street-involved youth. Their approach is unique as uses skateboarding as an outreach tool. Skating is what keeps kids coming back to attend our other programs, being vulnerable together is the main way they get to know each of the individuals and understand their situations.

In 2024, with Skateistan's support, BSKA launched the Bangladeshi Girls Shred project, which created the now thriving pathway for girls in their programs to become junior and senior coaches. The major aim of this project is to reduce the harmful practice of early childhood marriage among the communities they work in.
