Black box distribution have donated 30 set-ups and 50 pairs of shoes to Skateistan. This is huge news and has officially launched the project for 2008. This is a considerable expansion from the 3 skateboards we had in 2007. We are really stoked about this donation and can’t wait to get the boards over to Kabul for the students to use. Thanks heaps Black Box.
Convic have prepared draft plans for the design of the skate school. Convic have made some of the most original and well built skateparks in the world and the Kabul skate community are very fortunate to have them design Afghanistans first skatepark. We are now seeking assistance in building the ramps and other obstacles that they have designed.
