For the past year, Skateistan Kabul chose an employee of the month and recently held a draw for one of our staff to win two tickets to Mecca. Longtime skate instructor Noorzai, age 17, won and chose to send his parents. They went on the once-in-a-lifetime trip this summer. Congratulations to Noorzai for all his hard work with Skateistan!
The draw for the winner was made at a Skateistan event at the end of May, with famous Afghanistan Historian Nancy Dupree doing the honour of choosing a name out of the box.
